Bechamel sauce is one of the five mother sauces. It is a simple white sauce made from milk, flour and butter. Then it is flavored with onion, clove and nutmeg. This is the base for some of the most common white sauces, cream sauces, and cheese-based sauces. Since this sauce has a milk and flour base, naturally the cleaning procedure is similar to a milk stain.
