1. Equipment Needed
Water │ Liquid Dish Soap│ White Cloth or Paper Towel
Begin by cleaning the tar off your rug with a combination of ¼ cup of liquid dish soap and warm water.
Apply the solution directly to the area working from the outside in, make sure to move slowly to avoid any further spreading of the stain. It might take 2 or 3 times applying the solution and repeating the process until the stain is no longer noticeable.
Once the stain is removed allow your rug to air dry on both sides. After your rug is completely dry vacuum the tar stain to get rid of any remaining particles that are present.
